I also uninstalled yumex and reinstalled and that didn't help.

I still can not get rid of: ImportError: No module named cairo

I did have cairo-dock and cairo-clock installed, but I uninstalled them.

# yum update PackageKit

There is a bug causing strange errors in the other
connected applications. Who knows .. there may be a
solution this way.
In fact, no module named ' cairo.py ' exists in any
Fedora 12 package.

It's called

pycairo-1.8.6-2.fc12.x86_64

pycairo-1.8.6-2.fc12 is a package , not a module.

"Module Definition"

A module ' cairo ' would be named ' cairo.py '
.. not cairo.so .. or something else.

I had a similar problem with Yumex, couldn't find: ImportError: No module named cairo .

I Installed pycairo-1.8.6-2.fc12 and that solved my problem.

What do you mean ? This thread is about yumex only.
Mark as solved, please, when you think you have told
what you did to solve the original issue.
