Question yum repository in fedora 7 ?


Hi,

I want to install packages through yum in Fedora 7 just like (clamav , assp)
but i m not able to install , how can i create .repo file and which path i have to select because i want to install package from the net .

hi,

Now i m getting the following error when -------->

yum --enablerepo=dag -y install clamav*

Resolving Dependencies
--> Running transaction check
---> Package clamav-update.i386 0:0.92.1-2.fc7 set to be updated
---> Package clamav-server-sysv.i386 0:0.92.1-2.fc7 set to be updated
---> Package clamav-milter.i386 0:0.92.1-2.fc7 set to be updated

---> Package clamav-data-empty.i386 0:0.92.1-2.fc7 set to be updated

--> Processing Conflict: clamav-data-empty conflicts data(clamav) > empty
--> Finished Dependency Resolution
Error: clamav-data-empty conflicts with data(clamav) > empty


what can i do ?

It looks like you may already have clamav already installed. Try

Quote:
yum info clamav
Also be aware that support for F7 will be dropped in about a month.
