Yum plugin fs-snapshot not working in Fedora 17

I am trying to get the fs-snapshot plugin working with Fedora 17. I am running LVM & have free extents in the volume group. When I run a yum update or yum install, the fs-snapshot plugin is listed as being loaded, but it does not create a snopshot. Any ideas what I am doing wrong. I have edited the fs-snapshot plugin config file. Thanks
