Yum php-mysql 3.22 vs 4.1
I installed mysql 4.1, but with the yum php-mysql package it says:
php-mysql.i386 4.3.9-3.22.4
So to me that looks like it wants to use the mysql 3.22.4 libraries when in fact I already have a good copy of mysql installed on my server (4.1). So I guess PHP needs to know about my copy?
In the configure statement (I guess yum generates this?), it says:
--with-mysql=shared,/usr
However there is no other mention of mysql on my phpinfo page, and I can't use mysql stuff in php. I think I need to change the directory? How do I do that, if yum has taken care of the configure statement? mysql is : /usr/bin/mysql
Thanks.
