yum install error
The command "yum install mysql-server" gives me a message about not having any GPG public keys installed. I tried running the command "rpm --install public.gpg.key" as it says in the error message and it says import read failed.
I also tried commenting out the line gpgkey in yum.conf and restarting the service to no avail. I also tried changing it to =0 instead of =1 as it was in the initial config. I thought that would off the GPG key checking?????? Am I using the correct syntax? Be easy on the noob.... |
try
rpm --import /etc/pki/rpm-gpg/RPM-GPG-KEY-fedora to disable gpgcheck edit /etc/yum.conf and change gpgcheck=1 to gpgcheck=0 |
Ok, I tried running rpm --import /etc/pki/rpm-gpg/RPM-GPG-KEY-fedora as it was typed and get a message import read failed.
I have also changed the line gpgcheck=1 to =0, restarted yum and still cannot install. Is there another service that I need to restart for yum to read the new yum.conf? |
