I have flash installed, flash banners show up just fine but when I want to watch a video online it doesn't work. It doesn't display the youtube player but a different one. Ive tried several different video sites and I get the same thing. what's wrong here?
what version of flash are you using? make sure you've the shiny new 9.0.x release. you can add a download site as a yum repo to make it simpler to keep up to date... http://macromedia.mplug.org/site_uh.html

This is not a hard question to answer if you have solved it. Firefox 2.0.0.4
It's a Java matter. Go to Firefox-Edit-Preferences-Content-Enable JavaScript-Advanced. Leave "Enable JavaScript" checked and uncheck everything in Advanced and see if that doesn't fix it. Mine was trying to move or resize the existing window and disable or replace context menus. On = youtube not working, off = youtube works (for me).
