xev & Logitech Access keyboard

I recently bought a new Logitech Access keyboard. It works fine except some of the "extra" keys aren't being detected by xev. I changed the "XkbModel" in xorg.conf from "pc105" to "logiaccess" and selected "Logitech Access Keyboard" in "Keyboard Settings" (Gnome menu) and these keys still don't work.

After searching this site & the rest of the web, I could only find old information. It seems the old problems/solutions were addressed before Fedora Core 3 (which I am currently using) was released. Is there something I've done wrong or forgotten to do? I know with the Logitech Click! mouse, I have to manually configure some stuff to get the sixth button to work (see is this the same case for the keyboard? And if so, what is it that I have to do?

As far as I know, if xev does not report anything, then nothing can be done...
