xcdroast no longer belongs to FC3 ?
 
the popular cd writing tool xcdroast is present in FC3? if it is present, may you please tell me the directory in which it is present?

FC3 does contain Xcdroast. For me it didn't install, when i made an upgrade from FC2 to Fc3. I serched through the cd's for the xcdroast rpm & did an "rpm -ivh xcdroast<nos.>.rpm" The <nos.> should be replaced by the appropriate number u will find with the rpm package. Search through the cd's.

Fedora removes packages that are deemed not necessary or popular. You may have to compile it yourself if you really need it or use something like k3b whivh is better than xcdroast in my opinion.
