X11 cannot find screens

I have just installed the latest version of fedora core and am having troubel getting X11 to start, the CLI works perfectly normaly but X11 does not start by it's self however that is not the problem, the problem is that when I run the command to tell X11 to start it comes up with the error meassage

screens found but none with a usabel configiration
GPL is now dissabeled, please restart it when the configuration is fixed

this is not realy an urgant problem but it is quite annoying, the moniter i am using is a very old cathode ray tube moniter conected via the onbord grafics in my supermicro / american megatrends super 810 mutherboard running a intel celtron man-somthing-or-other with 512 MB of RAM

It sounds like you have a bad X configuration. Fedora's configuration tool is pretty good at creating a usable configuration in most circumstances, even if it's not optimal for your system. But it's better to start with something that's working and then tweak it afterwards.

Run the following command as root:

system-config-display --reconfig
