Wireless optical mouse does not work

Hi folks,

FC3

Just have Intelligent wireless keyboard combo and wireless optical mouse installed. The keyboard works but the mouse does not work. The red light at the bottom of the mouse is on. Moving the mouse has no effect on the cursor. Now I have to use an USB mouse in combination.

- run kudzu a coupla times from terminal WITHOUT the usb mouse.

- make sure your kernel supports optical mice.

- use either xorgconfig or xf86config from command line (and make sure you copy XF86Config to XF86Config-4) if necessary when xf86config is done saving your selections.

good luck.

Hi halvy,

Tks for your advice.

The channels of both keyboard and optical mouse were factory-set to ch-1. I changed the channel of the optical mouse to ch-2. Then the mouse is working now.
