Hi, I have been running F16 on my eeepc since it was released last year. I normally sign on (GNOME) play around for a while and then suspend the session pending further use. All good. I connect wirelessly to my TP-LINK router.
Last week I was overseas and using the hotel's wireless facility. Not the first time this PC has been overseas since F16 was installed. No problems experienced there.
Back home and I find that the wireless connection is not restored after waking up a suspended session. that is, log onto GNOME, wireless is good. Suspend and wake up again - no wireless. I tried to ifdown and ifup with the following results:
[root@tiny tim]# /sbin/ifup wlan0
Active connection state: activating
Active connection path: /org/freedesktop/NetworkManager/ActiveConnection/4
** (process:2209): WARNING **: _nm_object_get_property: Error getting 'State' for /org/freedesktop/NetworkManager/ActiveConnection/4: (19) Method "Get" with signature "ss" on interface "org.freedesktop.DBus.Properties" doesn't exist
Error: Connection activation failed.
Does anyone know what I have done to affect wireless connectivity? For reference I also tried XFCE and the same problem exists.
I dual boot the PC with windows so I tried that and wireless is restored after a hibernation.
