Wireless Link to Internet

I would be pleased if someone can kindly suggest which is best over connection to internet(under FC-5 kernel)wirelessly without any issues between Netgear and Linksys router and NIC card. These are the WLAN packs I will opt for one before
buying. But if someone tells me there is gonna be
big problem in either of these, then I will avoid
buying. You know, you can't easily get refund after buying.

Please have your advice and thanks.

I have used Linksys. Wired or wireless depends on your need. There is good support for hardware devices with GNU/Linux.

If I am gonna use a medium price range model(for small office nature)such as this WRT54G(Cable/DSL Router) and WMP54G(Nic card). Will FC-5 detect these and support by Linux generic drivers smoothly & gracefully without hassle? Why I raise this question because I don't really want to repeat the problem of my onboard sound chip undetected and no-sound problem has yet to be solved in my system.

At least 4 different revisions of WMP54G card with 2 or 3 chipsets. Many chipsets are now supported natively and those that aren't can be made to work with ndiswrapper. Check the forums to see if WMP54G crops up as being unusually problematic in FC5

Can you tell precisely which Linksys wireless WMP54G Nic card(with which version and chipset, mfg date..and so forth)is completely support without drama(so called auto-detected)by the native Linux driver of FC-5 kernel? I am a newbie and frightened by the complexity of kernel rebuilt or module fix in order to get it done. I have read some posts from past forums and found myself lost in tons of problem fixing instructions. Isn't the ndiswrapper a command to work around it in command mode should the native driver(FC-5 built-in)in Gnome GUI mode not work?

Ndiswrapper is an application that can make windows drivers run in nix environment, you have to install it first before you can make use of it http://ndiswrapper.sourceforge.net/m....php/Main_Page

Problem being unless you can actually get your hands on the card you want to install you will never know what revision/chipset you have.
That being said it's not that hard getting ndiswrapper up and running and very few cards wont work.
