"window system doesnot support openGL" caused by changing resolution
I am quite sorry that there is a similar thread named "LinuxQuestions.org > Forums > Linux - Distributions > Fedora > Instructions for installing Nvidia driver on FC3" about this problem. But I can still not find the answer. I am just a fresh Fedora user :study: . Please give me some help.
The original resolution was 1024*768. Then I changed it to 1280*960. The following errors came out. ************************************************************************ [c@g tp]$ ./tp001 freeglut (./tp001): OpenGL GLX extension not supported by display ':0.0' [c@g markerless_camHand]$ ./main (main:3023): GdkGLExt-WARNING **: Window system doesn't support OpenGL. ************************************************************************ I tried to returned to the original resolusion of 1024*768. But the error is the same. DO: rpm -qa |grep xorg-x11-Mesa-libGL OUTPUT: xorg-x11-Mesa-libGL-6.7.0-2 xorg-x11-Mesa-libGLU-6.7.0-2 :Pengy: |
sorry to post this thread. it seems that it is just a simple problem.
when i changed the resolusion, the driver is renamed in the file of /etc/X11/xorg.conf. |
