I upgraded (replaced) my main board a couple days ago. Ever since the upgrade, the GNOME desktop does not want to finish starting up. All I get is the "fedora" box in the center of the screen, where normally it shows icons for the various processes as they are started. It hangs at this point and does nothing else.
I was able to manually launch the WM from another virtual console, as well as anything else that i wanted to launch, but the panel and the other desktop elements remained missing.
So, I am using a different account for the time being until I can figure out what is wrong. The problem affects only my primary user account. I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction.
I'm using FC1.92 (core 2 test 3)
