Question WIFI scanner for fedora?


after getting my wireless card to work under fedora *happy.
My next goal is to find a program that will scan for wifi networks. I dont see any that came with my fedora install. anybody ever use one or know of one that works well with fedora.

kwifimanager does this graphically
iwlist wlan0 scan does this for me, with wlan0 being my wifi card. change it to whatever suites your needs.

Hi.

Kismet (www.kismetwireless.net) is easily the best tool, as long as your card can go into rfmon mode. If not, FLOODS's suggestions are spot on.
