How about f10-32bit? 64 bit os will take up more space.
How about resizing the fedora partition - 10gig is reasonable
for today. Sad, I know. I used to install gnu/linux (RH9) to less than 4gig.
It would be interesting to know if this is consistent though - I suspect you have checked some other options - like additional guis.
There's lots of eye-candy in modern distros, and many more automatics. Doing without compiz-fusion may help for eg. But, if space is at a premium, you may want to consider a slimmer distro. The situation with fedora is only going to get worse.
