Why haven't they...
Added ndiswrapper natively to Fedora Core?!? Installation and configuration of ndiswrapper is one of the things that plagues newbies and veterans alike. For some reason under Fedora Core 5.90 anyattempt to bring up my card under the wlan0 interface results in being labeled as eth1 and will not start when modprobing ndiswrapper, eth1 or wlan0. It says driver present hardware present so why a no go? It works under every other distribution I have used except this one. Any ideas?

what a rubbish title.. please try harder next time...
afaik ndiswrapper is tarnsihed with the same dubious license brush that sees off mp3 support and the likes within fedora. |

Try enabling the "Network Manager" and "Network Manager Dispatcher" services.
