I have failed so for to use LTTNG. (version 2.6.0)
fedora version:4.2.8-200.fc22.x86_64

problem:
lttng-modules-2.6.0 to lttng-modules-2.6.1 failed to build
lttng-modules-2.6.3 reports:
depmod: WARNING: /lib/modules/4.2.8-200.fc22.x86_64/extra/probes/lttng-probe-x86-exceptions.ko needs unknown symbol lttng_pid_tracker_lookup
and lsmod | grep lttng remains empty.

lttng-modules-2.8.0 reports
[ 12.768595] Cannot add context lttng_add_preemptible_to_ctx
[ 12.769428] Cannot add context lttng_add_migratable_to_ctx
lsmod include lot of lttng but not the mentioned above.
lttng api works (create, enable-event, etc)
but no info reported (lttng view)
any recomendations?

fedora 22 WILL give you all kinds of problems

it is no longer supported

install the current Fedora 24

also according the
http://lttng.org/download/#fedora
this is for the VERY old and VERY dead and long unsupported Fedora 17

and is for using a OS that is using "SystemV "
fedora 22 ,23,24 are using "the NEW "SystemD"

my fedora is 22 systemd, isn't it new enough?

I have problems upgrading due fedora 24 due to performance degradation.
