which fedora version should i install?


i want to install fedora core on my pc but i found out that there is 3 versions 5,6 and 7 which but also i found that there is

Zod-binary-i386
Zod-binary-x86_64
Zod-binary-ppc
Zod-source.

which torrernt should i download and install on my PC
MB GIGAByte K8U
2800 sempron AMD
80 giga segate
iam not a professional linux user and i want to install fedora from cds not DVD

go for Zod-binary-i386. thats fc6.

what about Zod-binary-x86_64 i read that sempron 2800 support 64 bit technology

If the processor supports 64bit you can go for Zod x86_64. I'm using the same here, but be advised you will have to tweak a little bit here and there albeit initially and once everything is properly setup, 64bit is a breeze.

just for the sake of completeing what i have started

Zod-binary-i386
Zod-binary-x86_64
Zod-binary-ppc
for me i will go for i386

Not all Semprons support 64 bit, so before downloading the 64 bit version of FC6, make sure your system supports 64 bit.

I have a sempron 2800+, which is not 64bit.
