Whether I can saving my system, lost MBR and partition table

a foolish mistake!!!! , dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/hda bs=512 count=1

( exactly method is dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/hda bs=446 count=1 , equal to DOS bootup and run command : fdisk /MBR )

so , I lost my partition table, >>>>> fall over <<<<<<

I bootup system with RH CD1 into rescue mode, but system told me

can't find partition table so can't chroot /mnt/sysimage

who can tell me whether my system can be save ??

pls help me , thx.

hi
you may want to give a try to the following utility
TestDisk ("http://www.cgsecurity.org/index.html?testdisk.html")

NOTE: I never used TestDisk so use it on your own risk
