Where can I find the nightly builds?

Ok, I admit it. I should be able to find the nightly builds but I can't seem to locate them. Are there builds which will allow me to install from scratch? Are there ISOs or do I need to do a network or some other install? Are they upgradable once the full releases are available?

Thanks!

Hi.

what, excactly, are you trying to find nightlies for? Most distros(-providers), as an important part of the service, does some stability and quality checking, and therefore rule out nightlies; of course they won't prevent you from installing nightlies of your favorite program, but that's for you to mess with.

Now, nightlies are application-specific. Some provide nightlies, some don't; some nightlies (say, firefox) may be acceptable to use, some are probably not (say, the kernel). Their properties, such as upgradability, are likewise application-specific.

Given the aforemenioned generalization of distro policies, my best guess is that nightlies are to be found on the application website.

Hope this helps,

Jonas Kölker

I am referring to the statement on this page at the fedora site:
http://fedora.redhat.com/participate/schedule/

Specifically:
"In addition to these releases, the nightly trees will usually be installable."
