what is up with FC5's installer?
 

how come when i start the FC5 installer everything is HUGE, the entire installation window doesnt fit my screenname and i have to use the tab button just guess which button i am on. Any ideas how to fix this?

use the text version? i wouldn't really worry so much unless this persists into the running of the system...

I guess that could work. How do i make an extended partition though in fedora core? I would like the entire Fedore core installation to be in an extended partition. any suggestions?

you would use the installer, that's what it's there for. i would advise against doing this though, use an LVM partition instead.
