what is required at dhcppc9 login:


hello, i'm new

just installed FC5, everything went fine until first reboot then it all run nicely until i get prompted for dhcppc9 login:

can anyone shed any light please, i'd really appreciate it!!

A username, followed by a password. Type in 'root' and then when it asks, the password you set during installation. Then type 'startx' to find out why the GUI isn't loading properly.

after startx the GUI loaded fine, although a little slow
