What about 64bit wine?

Anybody know if there is going to be(or already there is) a 64bit wine.
Code:

[shrikant@shricore64 ~]$ yum list | grep -i wine
wine.i386                                0.9.29-1.fc6          extras
wine-arts.i386                          0.9.29-1.fc6          extras
wine-capi.i386                          0.9.29-1.fc6          extras
wine-cms.i386                            0.9.29-1.fc6          extras
wine-core.i386                          0.9.29-1.fc6          extras
wine-devel.i386                          0.9.29-1.fc6          extras
wine-docs.noarch                        0.9.27-1.fc6          extras
wine-esd.i386                            0.9.29-1.fc6          extras
wine-jack.i386                          0.9.29-1.fc6          extras
wine-ldap.i386                          0.9.29-1.fc6          extras
wine-nas.i386                            0.9.29-1.fc6          extras
wine-tools.i386                          0.9.29-1.fc6          extras
wine-twain.i386                          0.9.29-1.fc6          extras

They mention something here but not yet in Fedora repos.

I personally doubt that there will ever be one. At the rate virtualization is maturing, emulators are about to become dinosaurs.

Wine 32 bit runs just fine on 64 bit if you install the 32 bit libraries. I'm doing it on several machines.

Well maybe you are right rickh. But lets hope for the better.

Thanks xjlittle, i'll try that.

Your best option is to go the official wiki here:
http://wiki.winehq.org/WineOn64bit

...and build it yourself. It's not difficult, but compilation takes quite a while
