VMWare on Fedora Core 3
I'm wondering if anyone has tried to install VMWare Workstation 4.52 on Fedora Core 3. Everything from RPM install to network configuration went very well, I was even able to run my guest
However, once Linux is rebooted, I can see at boot time:
Virtual machine monitor [ OK ]
Bridged networking on /dev/vmnet0 [ OK ]
DHCP server on /dev/vmnet8 [ OK ]
NAT service on /dev/vmnet8 [ Failed ]
Host-only networking on /dev/vmnet8 [ OK ]
Virtual ethernet [ Failed ]
And once I'm in Linux, I type 'vmware' I get the following message:
VMware Workstation is installed, but it has not been (correctly) configured for your running kernel. To (re-)configure it, your system administrator must find and run "vmware-config.pl". For more information, please read the VMware Workstation documentation.
Does anyone have a fix? I didn't have this problem in FC2.
