VMWare FC5 install problem detecting HD

This is a weird situation. I successfully installed FC5 on VMWare, but then removed it because I didn't allocate enough disk space, but when I attempt to reinstall, I get a message that says something like "Harddrive cannot be detected, you must choose the driver manually." Then it attempts to choose a driver automatically, and proceeds, but I eventually end up getting another error message indicating it can't find a device to write the filesystem to.

I don't get it. The install worked fine yesterday. Any insight?

it'd guess that the hard disk you created is invalid, or possibly just not connected.

I had the same problem. Using the "Buslogic" driver worked for me!
During install, FC5 should inform you that it doesn't see a hard drive, and ask you if you want to "Add a device" take that option and add the buslogic driver.

I can't take credit, I read it on another forum somewhere.
