video driver for Intel 4 Mobile Integrated chipset

I have hp dv4 laptop which uses Intel Mobile 4 express chipset for video. When I upgraded to FC10 few months ago I chose 'Experimental modesetting video driver for intel integrated chipsets' which gave me maximum resolution of 1280X800.

Recently I tried to use 'dual head' mode for external monitor and it didn't work. My display controller is also Intel Mobile 4 according to lspci. I tried to find newer video driver for this video chipset, but after googling and looking around could not find anything.

Does anybody have suggestions on what could I use for a better video driver, especially the one which might driver external display as well?

I just got a Dell Inspiron 1545 Laptop with this same chipset.
If you want to run winblows it's fine, even decent for most games with some tweaking.

While Dell uses this same chipset in the few Linux Lappys they do have, Finding Drivers anywhere on their dwnld site is impossible.

Like you I should have got a Ati card that was offered as an upgrade.
But another $125 kind of limited that...

Oh well Dell got my $$$$$$$$$$ Iand I got the $haft....
