Vague error during installation

This occurs with both of my install dvds (FC6 and FC7) either as soon as it starts booting from the dvd (FC7) or after I press enter to install linux (FC6).

"Unknown interrupt of fault at EIP 00000060 c04002b1 000002b0"

That gets spammed across my screen until the system reboots itself. I'm running an IBM Netvista that I purchased from Tigerdirect and has a P4 2.0 or 2.4 ghz processor, 1x256 + 1x512 mb ram @ 266 mhz, an LG dvd/cd-rw optical drive and a maxtor(?) 200gb ATA hard drive. I haven't the vaguest idea what kind of motherboard is in this thing.

Both dvds were burned on another computer using DeepBurner.

google doesn't seem to know what this error is, but any and all help is apperciated.

Thanks
-ten

Thank you for that. I was worried I'd have to RMA my computer
