using yum.repos from yumex

When I first started using yum I added a few .repo files, which yum immediately recognised. When I subsequently installed yumex, it added a number of repos which are only available through this app. The funny thing is that if I look for these files with Nautilus I can't distinguish mine from the ones yumex added, but if I use the shell, the ones yumex added are green and mine black.

How do I go about adding them to my command-line yum?
How do I prevent yumex from uninstalling them if I uninstall yumex?
If I wipe them and replace them with identical copies of my own, will yum still detect them?
