Question UsB installation and boot up

I also ask this guestion on this forum
The question is on my hard drives I have installed windows XP and suse 10.3
On my USB drive 360 G I like to install Fedora 8
I like to install Grub of Fedora 8 also on the usb drive because I like to
leaf my internal hard drives untouched

I do realize in doing so that have to change the boot options in the BIOS to change the OS I like to use.

As far as I know it possible with suse to install on usb drive and boot up
from usb but that is a lot of work because then I have to replace suse
by Fedora 8 and put suse on the USb drive

So in short is possible to install Fedora 8 totally on the usb drive

Many thanks

all the best
