Question upgrading to mysql 4.1 on FC1?

Hello,

This is my first post here as I'm in need of help.

I have a dedicated server with the following specs:

Plesk Version psa v8.0.1_build80060928.13 os_FedoraCore 1
OS Linux 2.4.22-1.2199.nptl
mysql 3.23.58-4
php 4.3.8-1.1

I really need to have mysql 4.1 on my server but since I'm kind of new to this, I would like to know if this is possible at all. I've heard that upgrading to mysql 4.1 might break plesk. Since I do use plesk panel I wouldn't like this to happen. Has anyone had experience installing mysql 4.1 on Fedora Core 1?

Thanks in advance,

Green

What about hardware specs?

Is that what is standing in your way of upgrading to FC5 or 6?
