I´m away from getting Fedora for just 400Mb as BT works on it´s best. Now i have a question that i think wasn´t yet answered. I´m running RH9 with already installed Nvidia drivers, so far... nothing new. However as i am thinking to upgrade instead of doing a clean fresh install i am in doubt concerning if it will boot in X or not. In a normal install i will need to "init 3" , "export CC=gcc32" and then run nvidia installer. My question is as i am upgrading from RH9 ...will Fedora mantain and boot with nvidia drivers or will i have to install them following the normal procedure???

I upgraded from RH9 to Fedora last week and had to re-install the ATI drivers that I had installed to get 3d accelleration working again. Most likely this is due to the fact that the 3d drivers aren't built into the kernel that comes with Fedora. The kernel that you receive as part of the Fedora upgrade has been named with .nptl at the end in the same that Mandrake uses mdk to signify whatever (distro specific?).

So in short, yes you will have to load any drivers that you built into the kernel on your own since you will be getting a new kernel along with the Fedora upgrade.
