If I (found these instructions at
www.brandonhutchinson.com
1. download & install the Fedora version of yum
2. download & install fedora-release package
3. upgrade using *yum upgrade*
I'm guessing that this will be a "one way trip", i.e. no going back if unsuccessful. (Correct me if I'm wrong.)
So, is there a way to upgrade to Fedora without losing RedHat9, and allow me to remove RH9 later on after I know the upgrade was successful, similar to installing a new kernel?
(I prefer NOT to set up a completely new, independent Fedora partition.)
