Upgrading MySQL 3 to 4 on Fedora Core 2

I am currently using Fedora Core 2 with the default MySQL installation. I would like to upgrade MySQL to version 4.0 (or whatever stable version) using either up2date or YUM. Does anyone know any YUM repositories that I could add to my file that would allow this to be done cleanly?

To my meager noobie knowledge, Mysql changed it's licensing for 4.x and therefore it can't be bundled with any new distro's (not legally anyway I guess).

As for the upgrading, I haven't found a way to just upgrade it, I did download Mysql 4.0 from mysql's website (an rpm), but haven't installed it yet. (haven't looked at any of the docs yet, I assume they say something about it)
