Undefined Video Mode Number: 317
Hi,
I'm running Fedora 10 on my P3 1Ghz, 256mb ram laptop. I can't get the fancy plymouth bootscreen... all i get is the bars on the bottom. I've tried appending vga=791 to my kernel line but I keep getting this error:
Undefined Video Mode Number: 317. Press Enter to see the list of available modes, space to continue, or wait 30 seconds.
Whenever I try vga=ask or press enter at the error, I get really little resolutions like 80x20, 80x30, 80x40, and 80x60. My graphics card is an Intel 815. Does anyone know how to get past this problem? Thanks.
PS. I know people who have the same graphics card as me to have gotten plymouth to work on their computer. so I'm guessing that it's my monitor's problem.
