Unable to read isolinux directory for FC 5 Installation with Loadlin
I have successfully upgraded a FC 4 installation to FC 5 on my primary box from a set of 5 disk images. I now want to upgrade the FC 4 installation on my back-up box, an older PIII that will not boot from the CD-ROM. I successfully installed FC 4 on this box using Loadlin by booting from a DOS disk with CD-ROM support and typing:
"loadlin d:isolinux\vmlinuz initrd=isolinux\intrd.img".
When I try the process with FC 5 DOS does not recognize the isolinux directory. When I boot to DOS and change directory to D: and do the command "D: dir", it correctly lists the directory structure of the FC 5 Disk 1. When I command "D: cd\isolinux" I get an "Invalid Directory" response. The same applies to any of the directories on the CD. If, however, I replace the FC 5 CD with an FC 4 CD, I can "cd" into any of the directories on the CD without any problem.
Has the file structure of the FC 5 CDs changed so that DOS no longer recognizes it?
Any suggested work-arounds?
