Unable to easily install packages from the fc5 cds

I recently installed fc5, and experiance some problems. Some of the cds gave a media corrupt error when I tested them with the installer.

I managed to work a round this by just choosing the default options, when it came to package instalation. I booted up successful, and was now ready to install some of the other packages, that werent corrupt. Which is nearly imposible if u have problems with the internet. From what I can tell u need to be connected to the internet just to view the avalible packages.

I want to beable to install the pack ages from the cd, as here in South africa where Im from, they charge u a fortune for interent access and broadband access.

Im struggleing to get yum, or rpm to pick up their dependencies from the packages in on the cd. Can any one help, or even better sujest just one gui program that i can download and install that will alow me to import the cd as an installation source like suse.
