unable copy onto floppy

When I try moving some of my files onto a floppy, I get an error message stating that the device is only read-only. I've put the floppy tab properly and even tried setting the permissions right for the cocerned folders.

What else can I do?

What is the relevant line in your /etc/fstab? Make sure there isn't an "ro" in the options part.
