Cool trying to reinstall fedora 3 from dvd

I'm trying to re-install fedora c3 on to a system that already has fedora c3 installed. there are files remaining on the system from apps. that have been unistalled. some of these same aps won't install properly. Since there is not much on the system, i thought it easier to start with a fresh system. Is there a way to "wipe" the drive and start fresh with the dvd?

best regards, James

When booting from the DVD you can choose between a fresh install or an upgrade, select fresh install and reformat the partitions when you come to that step.

Good luck!
