touchpad and keyboard at the same time

Hello

I'm using fedora 23 kde and my kid has minecraft on here. Used to use Fedora 19 kde which was no problem but now we can't use the touchpad while pressing a key at the same time. There are settings in kde system settings for enabling and disabling this but it doesn't appear to actualy change anything. Is there somehwere else I can look please?

Thanks

You could try to edit

Code:
 /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/50-synaptics.conf
Can't remember right now the option to change but it's quite guessable if I recall correctly.

Edit :
First, you might want to work on a copy of the file
Code:
 cp /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/50-synaptics.conf /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/50-synaptics.conf
Then the option could be palm detection wich prevent the use of the touchpad while typing (try increasing the value of palm dimensions first ?)

Edit 2 : synclient to have a look at actual config ?

last time i used a laptop i autostarted a little app called syndaemon, which does exactly what you want to avoid.
