is there a better tool for hardware installation for KDE then the standard control center?

The command line? A screwdriver?

Ok, ok, enough tongue-in-cheek, sorry. In all seriousness, what kind of hardware are you trying to install?

i have epson c64 so i didnt have that problem but after looking on www.epson.com i found that the c66 is only windows compatable. they explain why they are not compatible with macs but not with linux. but im wondering if you choose c64 would it work. i couldnt find anything on epson site or linux site about that.
