Today's kernel upgrade incompatible with my nvidia driver

I downloaded the 2.6.20-1.2944 update today, and it is incompatible with the video driver (from livna) that I installed on .2933. I tried uninstalling/reinstalling, but that did not work.

(the actual message said something about it unable to load the nvidia.ko module)
Any help?

Oh, I think I know what might be wrong with it. The kmod-nvidia file looks like it's for the .2933 kernel only. I have to find a new one.

Anyone know where I can find one?

I can't even tell if it's even available yet....maybe I'll just have to wait.

I guess I'll be using the .2933 kernel in the meantime.

Sometimes the new kernel comes out late in the day and the kmod hasn't been made yet.
When that happens, I don't go ahead with the kernel update until the kmod is also available.

Likely to show up in the morning.
