testing direct x

Is there some sort of program I could use to test if direct x is working properly because I cant play counter strike source on my linux box

i can see the cogs that means opengl is working properly and that fglrx is working right?

If you run "glxgears" from a terminal what FPS do you get? It should send the output to your terminal...

Then your card is working, those scores are perfect. Higher than mine, I have an Nvidia GeForce FX5200 though, nothing special -sulk-

I would be very worried if it wasn't as thats my old card!! Thanks guys it just either cedega,counter strike or fglrx having fun with meee
