I hv just download fedora core 4 X86_64 version. I install it on my AMD Athlonn 64 destop with Geforce 6200 video card. Every thing is fine except the annoying system clock speed, it is spinning too too fast, almost 2 times faster then the real time. I could ignore the time but the fast running also affect my system performance as well! When i hit on the keyboard, the letter i type will usually appear twice(as i only type it once!). And the mouse is too sensitive as well because of the fast running time.

I used SUSE 10.0 X86_64 before but it didnt come with problem like this.....

so.....................anyone can help me?

P.S: To many full stops cause by the fast spinning time!

try noapic and/or nolapic boot option in /boot/grub/menu.lst or /etc/lilo.conf. hope this helps.
