Synaptics Touchpad

Anybody know where to get the proper RPM for the Synaptics touchpad?
I've found a few links but all the packages are no newer than 1999 and don't seem to be compatable with Fedora. I installed tpconfig but it gives me an error when I run it saying something about a pckeyb patch? Anyone have any ideas?

I've got a Compaq 1700 Laptop that uses a Synaptic touchpad. Anyways, mine is just configured as a PS/2 mouse in for X, and its working fine.

The only functionality I don't have is the little four-arrow touch-circle thingy underneath the pad, I suspect that's what the driver enables.

Let me know if you need me to look around in my notes, I can dig up my XFree86Config file if you'd like.

I just want to disable tapping. It can be reaall annoying.
