Question Strange problem with Yahoo and Gmail

Guys,

I updated to firefox 1.5.0.7 and eversince im unable to access mail.yahoo.com and gmail.com. All others sites are fine.
The error i get
Code:
Unexpected response from server

Firefox doesn't know how to communicate with the server.

    * Check to make sure your system has the Personal Security Manager
          installed.

    * This might be due to a non-standard configuration on the server.
I can open these in Epiphany Web Browser & Konqueror. Kernel is 2.6.17-1.2187_FC5smp

Anybody got these issues?

Help
Thanks

Try

yum update nss

You *might* need to uninstall and reinstall firefox after doing that.

This will tell you what nss is:

rpm -q --info nss

An update of Firefox went out without a companion update to nss, and that caused Firefox breakage when browsing https sites.

I'm not familiar with that error you encountered.

You need to reset your mtu to about 600. I have mediacom and no mail for 4 days.. terminal window, su to root, ifconfig eth0 mtu 600 and it will work. just set it back in a couple of days, some things will be slow because of the size 600.
