standby or suspend a desktop workstation

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I'm curious, is there a way for me to standby (go to low-power mode) or suspend/hibernate (save current state to disk and temporarily power off) my desktop computer? I'm using Fedora Core rawhide/development RPMs.

there is options in power management you can find it from menu->preferences->screensaver then advanced tab.

The screensaver power management settings only apply to the monitor.
