i am asking for this because i use squid proxy on my fedora 9 distro and installed proxychain
i want to chain vmware to my proxy and need some more information regarding proxychain,
whit proxychain i can
# proxychain vmplayer
so every software i connect whit proxychain should be go throug proxy
it's simply #proxychain software

but am i doing something wrong or is it so simple like that.
is it just #proxychain vmplayer or #proxychain vmware or do i need some more configuration to connect proxychain trough squid proxy.
can someone please help me.

Regardless of the proxy software name or location of the proxy you need to know if you require SOCKS capability, if the proxy server handles that and then configure SOCKS in your proxychains.conf. The configuration file contains examples so setting it up shouldn't be hard.

from proxychain i get in console the message
|S-chain|-<>-192.168.1.*:****-<><>-127.0.0.1:631-<--denied

so localhost network ip will not connect whit computer localhost??

what could this be!
