Whenever i login to fc3, i can't play any sound. i have to set gnome-volume-control settings. In root login also i have to set these setting every time
Any idea to set these settings as default

Run alsamixer in a console and set the volume to the level that you want. Once thats done, run "alsactl store" as root. Hopefully the next time that you reboot, the volume level will be restored.
