Sound card not working anymore on FC5

The sound care is a built-in on the Intel motherboard. It is working fine with WinXP OS. Not working on a fresh install of FC5. I am new to linux. In linux world, what should I do when I don't have a driver for the sound card?

hi jialin,
I'm relatively new on linux either, but have you tried to go on desktop/system settings/soundcard detection to have a closer look......
I guess you should be able to detect your soundcard with that
